Litigation Attorney Leslie Wargo
Leslie Wargo is the Founder and Owner of Wargo Law, LLC. Leslie practices in general civil litigation with an emphasis in business litigation, real estate litigation, insurance disputes, commercial and residential landlord/tenant disputes, non-competition/misappropriation of trade secrets claims, probate and estate litigation, and appellate practice.
She also provides project-based legal services to other attorneys and law firms, along with assisting as personal counsel and local counsel on legal matters.
She has litigated cases in a diverse range of fields, representing both public and private companies and individuals. Her vast experience and skills in a wide-range of litigation matters for nearly 25 years allows Leslie to provide clients with thoughtful and practical legal solutions to their problems.
Prior to starting Wargo Law, Leslie was a partner at a medium-sized Cleveland law firm. She started her career as a law clerk with the firm and made partner (principal) within five years of becoming an attorney.
In 2017, Leslie served as a Judicial Staff Attorney for the Honorable Judge Mary Jane Boyle on the Eighth District Court of Appeals. Her experience involved researching and drafting court of appeals’ opinions, along with advising on pending motions and other legal matters.
She holds the AV® Preeminent™ rating from Martindale Hubbell. This is the highest possible rating in both legal ability and ethical standards as established by opinions from members of the Bar. Leslie has received this rating for the past ten years.
Leslie has been the recipient of several prestigious accolades including Best Law Firms, The Best Lawyers in America, and Ohio Super Lawyers®, which only the top 5% of attorneys in Ohio receive.
In addition to having her own law firm, Leslie is Of-Counsel to Schraff Thomas Law, LLC, where she primarily focuses on probate and estate litigation. Leslie also serves as outside general counsel to a small Northeast Ohio company.
